Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) recognises that Port Phillip Bay is not only Victoria’s gateway to international markets but also one of Victoria's key natural and recreational assets.

Protecting the natural environment of the bay is a priority for PoMC.

Environmental monitoring continues after the Channel Deepening Project’s completion in November 2009. A range of monitoring programs is in place and reports will be published on this website and on the website of the Office of the Environmental Monitor.
