Shipping and its associated industries provide exciting teaching and learning opportunities, but most of the activities within the port are not accessible to the general public.

Located in the heart of the port on the Yarra River, opposite the port's international container terminal, Port Ed gives a window to the world of traded goods and commodities central to our everyday lives.

Primarily an education facility, the centre is also available for community and maritime groups as a meeting venue.
