Port of Melbourne welcomed a 22-member delegation from the Japan Marine Construction Engineering Association last week.
Port CEO Brendan Bourke and management met with the delegates and discussed topics including marine construction and engineering technology, asset maintenance and the Port Capacity Project.
The Japanese delegates also visited the new Melbourne International RoRo & Auto Terminal (MIRRAT) at Webb Dock West. MIRRAT were recently awarded a six-star Green Star rating for the new terminal which is designed to handle around 1 million vehicles.
