Towage

Tugs and boatmen must be ordered through Shipping Managment Centre, and all charges are payable to the relevant towage company. There are two commercial towage operators in the Port of Melbourne - Svitzer Australasia and
PB Towage.

Svitzer Australasia

Svitzer Australasia operates from No. 30 Berth, South Wharf. The base is adjacent to Swanson and Appleton Dock berths. Tugs and lines-boats must be ordered through the Shipping Management Centre, and all charges are payable to Svitzer Australasia.
