Shipping tariffs and charges

Port of Melbourne Corporation has published its Pricing Policy Statement (PDF, 151kb) in compliance with the Victorian Essential Services Commission Price Monitoring Determination for the Victorian Ports .

Port charges
The Port of Melbourne Corporation Reference Tariff Schedule details pricing for port charges including wharfage, tonnage, berth hire, security, area hire, tanker inspection and water supply to ships.

Additional port fees are being introduced from 1 April 2008 to recover the investment already made in the Channel Deepening Project and the investment required to complete it.

View or download the current Reference Tariff Schedule, effective from 1 April 2008 until 30 June 2008, when the usual annual revision will be applied.
