As a self-funding business commited to a sustainable financial performance, Port of Melbourne Corporation's (PoMC's) pricing reflects the need to develop and maintain high quality port infrastructure and services for port users.
Reference Tariff Schedule
The Reference Tariff Schedule details PoMC's pricing for port fees including wharfage, tonnage, berth hire, security, area hire, tanker inspection and water supply to ships.
Status of the 2012-13 Port Licence Fee Recovery (as at 31 March 2013)
The Port Licence Fee (PLF) became a legislative requirement for PoMC with the passage of the Port Management Amendment (Port of Melbourne Corporation Licence Fee) Act 2012 (Vic) which requires PoMC to remit an annual amount to the Victorian Government at a starting rate of $75 million.
As part of the PLF implementation process, PoMC advised industry that it would provide a status report on the PLF recoveries at the end of the third quarter.

Review for Reference Tariff Schedule 2013-14
PoMC’s published fees and charges, as defined in the Reference Tariff Schedule, are reviewed annually.
An Industry Information Paper was released in February that provided a summary of the matters PoMC will consider in determining adjustments to its tariffs for 2013-14.
The February Industry Information Paper is part of PoMC’s stakeholder engagement for the tariff review process.
