Port Safety Induction Program

The Port of Melbourne (PoM) Safety Induction Program provides essential safety information to those needing to enter PoM controlled facilities and other areas in and around the port. The Program comprises of two types of induction:

Port Safety Induction – port wide induction for all areas controlled by PoM.

Site-Specific Induction – these inductions are berth specific. Currently there are site-specific inductions for Holden Dock and No. 1 Maribyrnong berths.

For those who need access to tenanted sites in the port, please contact the tenant directly.

Port Safety Induction

Port staff, contractors and consultants as well as other third parties with an operational need to visit port sites must complete a Port Safety Induction.
