Results of Newport pipeline spill investigations
Following the discovery of fuel contamination in a small area of the Newportpipeline corridor announced by Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) on 31 March, the first results of ongoing analysis indicate the contamination is not the result of a recent spill or leak.

Channel Deepening Project EMP approved
Federal Environment Minister, Mr Peter Garrett, has approved a strengthened Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the Channel Deepening Project.
